This VIN 004 Collector's Edition 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 convertible is powered by 7.0-liter LS7/505hp V8 engine with a racing-style dry-sump oiling system paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. This was the first 427 convertible produced with a Torch Red exterior and was the fourth model (VIN 004) produced at the Bowling Green assembly plant, home of the Corvette. This Corvette features wide-body styling, carbon-fiber Z06-style fenders, carbon-fiber raised hood, ZR1-style full-width rear spoiler, 427 badging, 60th Anniversary Design package, Magnetic Selective Ride Control with carbon-fiber floor panels, heads-up display and 427 logos sewn in the floor mats. Additional options on this Corvette include a carbon-fiber front splitter and rocker panels with Black Cup-style wheels on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear ZR1-style Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Included is the custom cover from California Car Cover with VIN00004 embroidered in red. A Letter of Authenticity from Corvette Executive Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter is also included.
