Meet Our Staff

Hi! I grew up in Dushore, Pennsylvania, a small mountain town where we boasted about having the only traffic light in the county. After I graduated from Sullivan County High School, I decided to go to Northwood University in Midland, Michigan. At Northwood University I earned a BBA in marketing and management while majoring in automobile dealership management. Since Northwood University, I have exclusively managed automobile dealerships for 20 years. My experience includes large and small dealerships representing many brands including Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Hyundai, Kia and Mercedes Benz. Being a small town guy, when the opportunity arose to own my own dealership here in Belle Plaine, I was ready to step out and buy a business of my own. I am joined in Belle Plaine with my wonderful wife and seven children. Since opening the dealership in 2010 we have focused intently on the customer experience while being a major supporter of the local community through various civic and religious organizations. I feel that local businesses have a moral imperative to make the communities where they operate better places to live and we do that every day here at Matt Saxe Chevrolet! Being a believer in self-improvement, one of my favorite quotes is derived from the Gospel Mark. "I am the cornerstone of your life, follow the pattern St. Peter shared, "Supplement your faith with virtue, virtue with knowledge, knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with devotion, devotion with mutual affection, mutual affection with love.""

I grew up in Montgomery, Minnesota, where in 2005 I graduated from Montgomery-Lonsdale High School. I attended college in Willmar, Minnesota. Once I finished school I moved back home and started my automotive sales career. If I seem like a familiar face it's because I've worked here in Belle Plaine since 2007. Knowing that being a part of this dealership is a very important part of my future, in 2010 I purchased a house in Jordan. I married my wonderful wife, Jennifer, in October of 2011. Jennifer is a 2005 graduate of New Prague High School, as well as a 2009 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter. Since we both grew up in small towns, we couldn't imagine moving away from our family and friends. When away from the dealership I enjoy hunting and fishing. I enjoy the outdoors so much I've also become a proud supporter of our local Ducks Unlimited as well as the Wild Turkey Federation and Pheasants Forever. My job as a sales manager at the dealership is really simple - help people get the vehicles they want. In all of my years here at the dealership I've grown to know many of our customer by name, and I've even helped whole families get cars all the way from a child's first car through a grandparent's retirement vehicle. Hello! My name is Megan Chard and I am a hometown Belle Plaine girl. After graduating from Belle Plaine High School, I attended the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management on a golf scholarship where I earned a degree in Accounting with a minor in Finance. I spent twelve years in public accounting with two different accounting firms, specializing in small business and individual taxation along with estate tax. While in public accounting I enjoyed building relationships and serving my clients in many different industries. I joined the Matt Saxe Chevrolet family in November 2014 as the office manager/controller and enjoy being part of a hometown business that focuses on the customer experience and giving back to the community. I reside in Belle Plaine with my husband Dan and our two children, Cameron and Carter. When I am not busy crunching numbers at the dealership I enjoy chasing my kids around to their numerous activities, spending time at the lake, traveling, ice fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Mike was born and raised in Lakeville, where he also graduated High School! He and his wife have been happily married for 42 years- which is the same length of time he's been in the Auto Industry! Family and his grandchildren are the most important things in the world to him! In the rest of his spare time, Mike lives for his classic tractor collection, and anything to do with snowmobiling!

Hello, I was born in Minneapolis, MN. I moved a few times as a kid and ended up in Shakopee, MN, in 5th grade, where my father eventually owned a Champion Auto store. I worked for my dad through high school and after for many years, learning everything about auto parts and the auto industry. My father sold the store back to Champion Auto and I decided to try another part of the industry working for a dealership. I have worked in the parts departments of dealerships in Apple Valley, Shakopee and Belle Plaine, MN. My wife, two children and I moved to LeSuer, MN, 9 years ago. My wife and I wanted to raise our family in a small town, and working in a small town dealership fits my personality. I love helping and getting to know the customers.
